About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our network infrastructure across multiple locations. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of enterprise network systems while supporting operational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues with minimal downtime.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances.
- Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and routine maintenance.
- Implement network security best practices, including firewall rules, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and VPN configurations.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and infrastructure teams on architecture and deployments.
- Maintain documentation of network diagrams, configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for network-related incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Provide support for network onboarding, IP management, and network access control.
- Manage network monitoring tools and proactively identify potential issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 37 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with network hardware: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent.
- Proven experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.
- Hands-on expertise with network monitoring & management tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / JNCIA / JNCIS / NSE / PCNSE.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions.
- Experience with VoIP, load balancing, and wireless network optimization.
- Knowledge of automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
