Your Role And Responsibilities
Would need to work with Leads and architects to implement the networking configuration/setup. Work with the support and field team to help troubleshooting the networking issues related to the product. Would be working with switches of multiples vendors and in L2 and L3 domain
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- 5 - 15 years of industry experience in System Networking, TCP/IP, UDP Protocols, static and dynamic routing protocols.
- Proven knowledge of working in Client-Server architecture.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Good problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills for complex issues with interdependencies across multiple modules
- Experience working with Global teams.
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience in network virtualisation.
- Experience in Linux Python programming, Systems knowledge, Virtualisation experience with VMware, KVM..etc
- Experience in Systems/Storage domains, Storage controllers and features like High availability, DR, Replication, Snapshot technologies.
- Experience working with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience in Systems/Storage domains and features like Storage, Replication, Snapshot, Networking technologies.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (IBM, AWS, Google, Azure)
- Experience with Agile Software Development Experience
- Familiarity with storage concept.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of OCP and Kubernetes, Operators, CRDs
