.Net Product Development Professional - Windows Applications, Naviam
As a Software Engineer with both Windows application and full stack development responsibilities, you will help manage the full lifecycle of Windows-based software while also contributing to backend services and modern web application development. This role includes design and development in C# and the .NET ecosystem, as well as hands-on work with Java, Spring, Struts, Angular, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, databases, and integration services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, apply Agile methodologies, and use best practices for version control, testing, and continuous integration. By staying current with emerging technologies—including GIS (ESRI), database solutions, microservices architectures, and modern web frameworks—you will play a key role in enhancing and expanding our software offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain Windows-based applications using C#, .NET, and modern Windows development frameworks.
- Implement robust, scalable, and high-quality code that meets product requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and enterprise application components using Java, Spring, and Struts.
- Build and enhance responsive web application features using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related frontend technologies.
- Integrate Windows applications, web clients, backend services, databases, and third-party systems through RESTful APIs and secure service interfaces.
- Package, submit, and manage applications for the Windows App Store.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft Store policies and guidelines, addressing certification feedback and updates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, UI/UX, and QA to create seamless user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and share best practices with the development team.
- Optimize application performance and loading times, ensuring superior end-user experience.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing codebases.
- Monitor application performance and resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner.
- Regularly update and maintain applications to ensure compatibility with the latest OS features and security requirements.
- Stay current with emerging Windows, C#, Java, Spring, Angular, TypeScript, and full stack development technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to existing products or processes.
- Explore new functionalities and integrations that can enhance the product's capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- 2+ years of experience developing Windows desktop, UWP, or WinUI applications, with additional experience contributing to full stack software solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully deploying and maintaining apps on the Windows App Store (preferred).
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Windows application development concepts.
- Experience developing backend services or enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Struts.
- Experience building frontend web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Required knowledge of relational databases and a strong understanding of SQL, including the ability to write, review, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
- Experience with Windows development frameworks (e.g., UWP, WPF, WinUI).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Store publishing processes and requirements.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of software development best practices (e.g., unit testing, CI/CD).
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for both Windows and web applications is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience working with the ESRI GIS framework (e.g., ArcGIS) or similar GIS technologies.
- Knowledge of IBM Maximo or other CMS/work management systems.
- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications or migrating legacy Struts-based functionality to newer architectures or frameworks.
Pay Range: ₹1800000 - ₹2200000 per year.
