Job Title: MYP/IGCSE Business Studies Teacher
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India
Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Studies Teacher to join our Secondary School faculty. The successful candidate will teach Business Management and related subjects within the IB MYP and Cambridge IGCSE frameworks, helping students develop entrepreneurial thinking, business acumen, financial literacy, and an understanding of the dynamic global business environment.
The teacher will inspire students to connect business concepts with real-world challenges, fostering critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and international-mindedness.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with the IB MYP and Cambridge IGCSE curriculum frameworks.
- Develop students understanding of key business concepts, including entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, operations, human resource management, and business strategy.
- Foster inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centered learning experiences.
- Integrate real-world business case studies, current affairs, and industry trends into classroom instruction.
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments aligned with programme requirements.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Encourage participation in Model United Nations (MUN), economics forums, and leadership programmes where relevant.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary School Business Studies.
- Strong subject knowledge in business management, entrepreneurship, finance, and economics fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
