ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Video Editor, we require you to have an in-depth understanding of YouTube andNetflix documentaries, intros, hooks, and how to grab the audience's attention for high viewer retention. Thiswill help enhance channel engagement.
We specialise in producing world-class 3D and motion graphics that capture a global audience. Most of your work willinvolve English content and documentary-style edits.
How your work would look like
B-roll/A-roll + 2D Motion Graphics
Includes map animations, infographics, graph animations, article rolls, all in minimalistic
designs , Collage type editing Eg Vox style .
You should understand color combinations, design sense, framing, and most importantly,
animation graphs.
You must have a deep understanding of using animation graphs effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Edit and design engaging video content tailored for YouTube and documentary-style storytelling.
Experiment with animation styles, typography, and pacing to set the creative tone for each project.
Research and source clips, visuals, and references to enhance factual storytelling.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to assign and adapt content, making a collaborative
approach at every stage.
Maintain high attention to detail, ensuring error-free, polished final outputs.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Motion Design or Video Editing for YouTube / Netflix documentary style content.
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects. Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
Accountable and proactive, able to follow instructions, deliver on time, handle feedback, and take
charge of the process without constant supervision.
Familiarity with Al-assisted tools such as Mid Journey, ChatGPT, Runway is preferred.
A great sense in clip selection and understanding of facts presentation using graphs, articles, and
research on the given topic.
Attention to detail ensuring no typing errors or glitches in the final output.
Great sense in choosing the colour styles and grading.
Awareness of trends in YouTube and documentary-style video production.
If you encounter undefined styles, take the lead in defining them collaborate with the team to decide the animation style, develop visual guidelines, select colours, fonts, and typography, and set the video's pacing based on the topic
