Role Purpose
To design, build and maintain high quality native Android and iOS applications for WorkPlus, ourSAAS based HCM platform. The role owns the mobile experience end to end from feature delivery and performance to store compliance and releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreData, Combine, Push Notifications, Biometric Auth.
- Build Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Room, Coroutines.
- Integrate mobile apps with REST/GraphQL APIs, Firebase, and cloud services.
- Ensure performance optimization, security, and smooth UI/UX across devices.
- Deploy apps to App Store and Play Store with proper versioning and updates.
- Familiarity in using tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, Git, Postman, Jira
- Own the release process for Android and iOS including build configuration, signing, store submissions, release notes and rollout strategy.
- Monitor app health using crash reporting and analytics tools, identify issues and drive fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, share feedback and help improve coding standards.
- Contribute to mobile architecture decisions including use of patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture and reusable components.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of hands on experience in mobile application development with focus on native Android and iOS and experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native/Flutter).
- Proven experience shipping and maintaining at least one Android app and one iOS app in production with active users.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and analytics tools.
- Preferred experience in domains such as HRMS, HCM, HRIS or financial applications like payroll, banking or fintech.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
