We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MERCHANT (FURNITURE EXPORT) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export sales, particularly in the furniture sector, and will be responsible for driving our international sales efforts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with potential international clients for furniture exports.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with buyers to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to understand trends in the furniture export industry and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to promote products and network with potential clients.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to deal with international clients.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of export documentation and procedures, including customs regulations.
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to make informed decisions.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
