Technostrength Pvt Ltd is an engineering firm based in Hyderabad, engaged in designing and manufacturing oilfield equipment and gas turbine auxiliary equipment. We arelooking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team in Greater Hyderabad area.
Responsibilities
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models of mechanical components/systems using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
Update existing designs to improve manufacturability, performance, quality & cost.
Generate bill of materials & develop production drawings, assembly drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design issues, provide technical expertise and offer innovative solutions.
Utilize ERP software to manage engineering & manufacturing related data.
Engage with manufacturing team to resolve design related issues.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, cost estimation, and project timelines.
Provide support to management representative for ISO activities.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech. (Mechanical) with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for 2D and 3D modelling. Prior experience in Oil and Gas industry, product development, engineering consulting is preferred.
Ability to develop drawings involving fabrication & machining.
Proficient soft skills required to map the bridge between creation of mechanical designs and production.
Sound knowledge of mechanical design principles (GD&T, ISO & ANSI standards).
Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and material selection is preferred.
Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools is desirable.
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for commuting between the office and manufacturing facilities.
