A community-focused healthcare provider operating in the rural primary care and inpatient/outpatient services sector, delivering essential clinical care, emergency stabilization, and preventive services to patients in and around Kurra, Rajim, Chhattisgarh.

Role: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) — On-site position in Kurra, Rajim (Chhattisgarh). Candidates should be prepared to manage OPD, inpatient, and emergency duties across rotating shifts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-contact clinical assessment and management in OPD and inpatient wards—diagnose, treat, and follow up common acute and chronic conditions.
  • Triage and stabilise emergency presentations; perform basic life support and coordinate transfers to higher centres when required.
  • Manage admissions and discharges including preparation of accurate discharge summaries, medication orders, and handovers.
  • Perform routine clinical procedures within scope: IV cannulation, wound suturing, catheterisation and other minor procedures.
  • Maintain complete and timely medical records, prescription documentation, test ordering and results follow-up in compliance with institutional protocols.
  • Liaise with consulting specialists, participate in on-call roster, clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.
  • Valid State Medical Council registration.
  • Prior clinical experience in hospital or primary care settings with exposure to emergency/inpatient duties.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Proficiency in ECG interpretation and bedside assessments.
  • Strong clinical documentation and prescription-writing skills.

Preferred

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • Previous experience as a Resident Medical Officer or Medical Officer in rural/primary healthcare facilities.
  • Familiarity with telemedicine platforms or point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
