About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our Cuemath Prime Centre. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young learners, possess strong conceptual knowledge of Mathematics, and be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students from Kindergarten to Grade 8
- Deliver concept-based, interactive lessons that build strong mathematical foundations
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving
- Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, and assessments, and provide timely feedback
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and learning goals
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure high-quality learning outcomes
- Participate in teacher training sessions, academic meetings, and centre activities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience (experience teaching KG–Grade 8 is preferred).
- Strong conceptual understanding of school Mathematics.
- Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum; familiarity with the ICSE and/or IB curriculum is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and creating meaningful learning experiences.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents
