Our client is a transaction advisory firm that specializes in start-ups and the early-stage eco system. They specialize in providing comprehensive Virtual CFO services, Valuations, Financial & Tax Due Diligence, and Tax Advisory services tailored to the unique needs of founders, investors, and high growth companies. Founded with a vision to simplify the financial and regulatory complexities of scaling a business, our client has built a reputation for delivering investor-grade insights, founder-first guidance, and hands-on execution.

Job Role :

a. Financial Retainerships

Be the strategic financial partner for start-ups, overseeing financial operations, budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow management, and investor communications.

Build financial discipline and governance frameworks suited for scaling businesses.

b. Valuations

Assist in procuring valuation reports for fundraise and secondary transfers (including M&A) in compliance with Income Tax Act, 1961, FEMA and Companies Act, 2013.

c. Due Diligences

Lead buy-side / sell-side due diligence engagement, including financial health checks, revenue and margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical financial reviews.

d. Tax Advisory

Provide tax structuring advice for transactions and business models, including cross-border setups, holding company structures, ESOPs, and exit scenarios.

e. Client Management and Team Leadership

Manage multiple client relationships and projects concurrently with a high degree of professionalism and responsiveness.

Mentor junior team members and drive quality deliverables across all engagements.

Qualifications:

CA with 46 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, Big 4, boutique advisory, or corporate finance roles.

Strong technical understanding of accounting standards, direct and indirect tax laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.

Proven experience in client servicing and team management Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non finance founders and stakeholders.

Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Proven experience working with start-ups or in the start-up eco-system highly preferred.
