About the role

We are looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial Innovation & Strategy Manager to lead high-impact strategic and innovation initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the center of some of the company's most critical transformation and growth projects, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design solutions, drive execution, and ensure successful adoption.

This is a highly dynamic role that combines strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, PMO rigor, stakeholder management, analytics, and innovation management. You will play a key role in identifying emerging opportunities, solving complex business challenges, building scalable frameworks, and driving organization-wide alignment on strategic priorities.

You will be expected to independently manage high-stakes projects from ideation to implementation, often operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities. The role requires close collaboration with CXOs and senior functional leaders. This role will also provide exposure to collaborating and working with the CEO and their office.

In addition to driving strategic initiatives, you will also help foster a culture of innovation across WeWork India by creating mechanisms, programs, and governance structures that encourage incremental as well as disruptive ideation and enable adoption of new ideas across teams.

Roles and responsibilities

  1. Strategic initiatives management (ideation - implementation - adoption)

  • Drive end-to-end execution of high-impact initiatives across the organization, from problem definition/ solution design to implementation/ adoption collaborate with CXO-level stakeholders

  • Act as the central PMO lead for key cross-functional projects, ensuring strong governance, execution rigor, stakeholder management, and timely delivery

  • Build structured business cases, strategic frameworks, data models, dashboards, and analytical insights to support data-driven decision-making

  • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear analyses, actionable recommendations, and scalable implementation plans

  • Work with the BI team to specify and build relevant data points/ dashboards across projects

  • Collaborate with technology & engineering team acting as a quasi-product manager

  • Outside-in intelligence gathering & strategic synthesis

  • Continuously track emerging trends, disruptive business models, technologies, customer expectations, and innovation practices that are applicable for WeWork India

  • Benchmark industry and global best practices to identify strategic opportunities relevant to WeWork India

  • Synthesize external insights into actionable recommendations, innovation themes, and future-facing opportunities for leadership teams

  • Innovation culture & organizational capacity building

  • Support the development of an organization-wide culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement

  • Design and drive programs, frameworks, and engagement mechanisms that encourage incremental as well as disruptive ideation across teams

  • Create governance structures and processes to evaluate, prioritize, incubate, and scale promising initiatives

  • Work with leadership teams to build organizational readiness and capabilities for innovation and transformation initiatives


  • Experience and qualifications

    • 5-8 years of experience in strategy, innovation, consulting, business transformation, program management, or cross-functional business roles in fast-paced environments

    • Prior experience in strategy or innovation teams in high-growth environments or management consulting preferred

    • Strong track record of independently managing high-stakes, cross-functional projects with senior stakeholder involvement

    • Demonstrated ability to work closely with CXO-level stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions

    • Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities

    • Strong proficiency in data analysis and business modeling

    • Experience operating in ambiguous and evolving environments with high ownership and accountability

    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills

    • Strong program management and execution rigor with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams

    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, ownership, and driving outcomes

    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

    • Passion for innovation, organizational transformation, and building scalable business solutions
