Job Title: Senior Manager Business Finance
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual / monthly budgeting process for the
marketing department. Develop and maintain rolling forecasts to project future
performance and identify potential risks or opportunities.
Performance Tracking: Monitor marketing expenditures against budgets and
forecasts, providing regular reports and variance analysis to marketing leadership.
Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis: Conduct financial modeling and analysis to
evaluate the ROI of various marketing campaigns and initiatives, such as brand
advertising, digital marketing, and promotions.
Regularly track and report on this critical metric to assess marketing spends like the
long-term profitability of customer acquisition efforts (LTV), Customer Acquisition
Cost, CPV, CPI etc
Strategic Business Partnering
Advisory Role: Serve as the key finance partner to the Chief Marketing Officer
(CMO) and other marketing leaders, providing financial insights and
recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Resource Allocation: Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize resource
allocation across different channels and campaigns to maximize effectiveness and
efficiency.
Business Case Development: Develop and present financial business cases for new
marketing initiatives, including market expansion, new product launches, and
technology investments.
Reporting and Controls
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
reports for the marketing department, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs)
and trends.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes
and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency within the marketing
function.
Compliance: Ensure all financial activities within the marketing department comply
with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:. MBA or CA with Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
in a finance role, with at least 2-3 years directly supporting a marketing, sales, or
business unit (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
