Manager - Quality Assurance (Projects)

• Ensure quality, safety, durability and compliance of retail store fixtures and Capex equipment.
• Conduct material inspections and structural/load-bearing testing for gondolas, racks, shelving, hangers, glass and other store fixtures.
• Conduct vendor quality audits and ensure adherence to defined QA standards.
• Verify the quality and safety of fixture installation at store sites.
• Identify defects and drive corrective actions with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Establish quality checkpoints and acceptance criteria for new store projects and Capex purchases.
• Maintain inspection reports, audit documentation, vendor quality scorecards and quality dashboards.

Experience : 8 to 12 Years

Education : B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical /Industrial / Production Engineering or equivalent

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Strong knowledge of material science for metal, plastic, and glass components used in

retail fixtures.

• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL)

sampling standards.

• Proficiency in structural/load-bearing testing methods and interpreting test reports.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards for store fixtures and

fittings.

• Vendor management and audit skills, with the ability to drive corrective action closure.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills; comfortable with MS Excel/quality

scorecards and dashboards.

• Good coordination and stakeholder management skills to work across procurement,

projects, and store operations teams.

• Willingness to travel extensively to vendor facilities and store sites for inspections and

installation verification.
