Manager - Programmable Technology

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams by facilitating Scrum processes, removing impediments, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring effective delivery of business and technology objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Jira administration and Agile methodologies, with the ability to partner closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, QA, SRE, and leadership teams. This role will serve as a servant leader, fostering Agile best practices and enabling high-performing teams to deliver quality software solutions efficiently and predictably. Key Responsibilities -Serve as Scrum Master for software development teams. -Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including: print Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives & Backlog Refinement -Coach teams on Scrum principles, Agile values, and best practices. -Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. -Help teams identify and remove impediments impacting delivery. -Support teams in delivering sprint commitments and release objectives. -Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy and prioritized backlogs. -Monitor team velocity, sprint progress, and delivery metrics. -Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers and drive resolution. -Promote predictable and sustainable delivery practices. -Serve as the team's Jira expert and primary administrator. -Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, boards, dashboards, filters, and automation. -Ensure accurate tracking of Epics, Features, Stories, Tasks, and Defects. -Create executive and team dashboards to provide visibility into delivery progress. -Develop Jira reports and analytics using advanced JQL and reporting capabilities. -Drive Jira governance and process consistency across teams. -Maintain Confluence spaces and project documentation to support collaboration and knowledge sharing. -Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Architects, QA, SRE, and business stakeholders. -Communicate sprint and release status, risks, and dependencies. -Facilitate cross-team coordination and alignment. -Prepare and present Agile delivery metrics to leadership. -Lead retrospectives and drive action plans for process improvement. -Identify opportunities to improve team productivity, quality, and delivery effectiveness. -Support Agile maturity initiatives and adoption of best practices. -Contribute to scaling Agile practices across the organization. Required Qualifications & Skills -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. -47 years of experience working in Agile software development environments. -Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for software development teams. -Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Agile principles, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices. -Hands-on experience administering and configuring Jira, including workflows, boards, dashboards, filters, automation, and reporting. -Hands-on experience with Confluence for documentation management and team collaboration. -Proficiency with Jira reporting, Agile metrics, and advanced JQL. -Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. -Demonstrated ability to remove impediments, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. -Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, SREs, Architects, and business stakeholders. -Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. -Experience tracking and reporting Agile delivery metrics, including sprint velocity, burndown, cycle time, and release readiness. -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced software development environment. Preferred Qualifications & Skills -Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification. -Jira Administrator certification. -Experience supporting DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud-native development teams. -Knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery methodologies. -Experience administering Confluence spaces and Jira-Confluence integrations. -Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jenkins, or similar tools. -Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). -Experience facilitating Agile transformation or Agile maturity initiatives. -Working knowledge of release management and software quality assurance processes. -Ability to create executive-level dashboards and delivery reports that provide actionable insights to leadership.
