Job Description

  1. Correct pricing based on market inputs to maximize sales and net realization
    2. Contribute to the ability of sales team to close deals and serve customers effectively on month to month basis.
    3. Initiate projects to drive process improvement for customers. Facilitate value management activities to provide non-pricing value to customer. Implementation of value providing ideas
    across supply chain
    4. Provide inputs for Formulation of ABP and 5-year Plan, with regards to tracking competitors moves in the industry, tracking of customer performance to develop effective strategy for protecting share of business and optimize resource allocation for meeting the targets.
    5. Provide Inputs for long term growth plans by ensuring Market and customer projections, analysis of Future trends of steel usage in industry and Identification of investment opportunities for company
    6.Facilitate market & product development by identifying new segments to serve / target new customers, promote new product development for enhancing value proposition to customer and coordinate with plant and Technology Group for development of new products.
    7. Managing customer accounts by Providing appropriate inputs for developing Contracts, maintaining target share of business, Identifying Direct & latent need of customer and Periodic
    8. Monitoring of customer performance.
    9. Market & Competition tracking for adjusting the monthly targets, Tracking competitors- offers, prices, investment / growth / collaborations. Identifying midterm and long-term winners in the industry for Strategy purpose

    10. Drive customer facing initiative

    - Plan and coordinate various consumer connecting platforms

    -Plan and execute need based consumer incentive schemes
    Influencer Management-Implement engagement activities to initiate and maintain relationships with various influencers, opinion leaders and industry associations which can drive customer behaviour

    11. Market Information Gathering

    -Tracking and collating the information on competition

    -Collating market information on demand and pricing.

    12. Sales Support

    - Facilitating Sales team in customer support
    Surveys & research

    -Design & implement surveys and research focused around customer, competitor, market or channel

    -Collate consumer insights and provide inputs for product &
    service differentiation

Product and market segment knowledge, commercial acumen, knowledge of sales processes, Analytical Skill

Communication skills, Interpersonal effectiveness, drive for result, networking skills, customer orientation.

People with 2-4 years of experience in construction industry / building material industry will be preferred

Other details

BE/B. Tech in Civil and MBA is preferable.
