Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Functional Lead with 6 to 10 years of expertise in SAP Material Management (MM) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will lead daily agile standups, design robust end-to-end solutions, and manage critical system interfaces. You will also oversee the end-to-end tracking of support tickets and change requests to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Job Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end solutions within SAP MM and EWM modules.
- Map complex warehouse and procurement business processes to SAP standard functionalities.
- Architect and maintain standard and custom interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, APIs) connecting SAP with external systems.
- Author clear, detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects).
Project Leadership & Agile Delivery
- Facilitate daily standup meetings with cross-functional IT and business teams.
- Remove project blockers to keep development timelines on track.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical developers.
- Translate high-level business requirements into clear technical user stories.
Operations & Change Management
- Prioritize, track, and resolve daily support tickets and system incidents.
- Manage the lifecycle of change requests from initial impact analysis to final deployment.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business teams.
- Ensure all system modifications adhere to corporate compliance and governance rules.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 6–10 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP MM and SAP EWM.
- Core MM Skills: Deep knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and master data.
- Core EWM Skills: Expertise in inbound/outbound processing, internal movements, physical inventory, and wave management.
- Interface Expertise: Strong experience managing EDI, IDoc, ALE, and Web Services interfaces.
- Methodology: Proven experience leading agile ceremonies, daily standups, and scrum sprints.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence both business leaders and developers.
