Job Description

This is a pioneering role within Alcon's new Elevate HR team. You will drive innovation in HR by redesigning processes, implementing automation, and leveraging data to enhance the employee experience. This role combines HR expertise, process improvement, and digital transformation to build a smarter, faster, and more intuitive HR ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Redesign & Improvement

  • Lead the redesign of HR processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and user-friendliness.
  • Map existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
  • Apply process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen.

Digital Solutions & Automation

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement automation and digital tools that enhance HR operations.
  • Ensure seamless integration of HRIS systems and other technology platforms.
  • Monitor performance metrics and use data analytics to identify opportunities for further optimization.

Documentation & Change Management

  • Create clear, scalable documentation for workflows, systems, and processes.
  • Champion change management efforts, including training and communication, to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to align processes and technology solutions with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for process improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR, process improvement, or HR operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in process mapping and redesign.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
  • Bonus: Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
