Job Description

Overview

This role is expected to drive quality, food safety & regulatory compliance across Co-manufacturing sites by ensuring adequate Governance and Compliance (G&C) on Q&FS through PepsiCo standard implementation, monitoring, conducting periodic reviews & site visits and mentoring plant teams.

With Co-manufacturing footprint increasing and new portfolios being added (Kurkure, Uncle Chipps, Solid Masti, Oats, Puffcorn and Lay's), there is need to step up G&C on Q&FS to deliver safe and consumer preferred products.

The role will ensure consistent compliance to QFS systems, enhance supervision with additional support, direction & guidance to ensure consistent delivery of Quality & FS.

This role has full decision-making authority on areas or issues ensuring products or processes are safe, stable and legal. It interfaces with several stakeholders within the business to drive, verify and ensure compliance to this measure.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the Q&FS agenda across co-pack manufacturing sites to deliver Q&FS targets.
  • Lead Audit ready everyday approach to achieve 925+ score in AIB.
  • Lead GFSI certification of Co-man sites.
  • Lead implementation & sustenance of Q&FS policies/standards across co-pack manufacturing sites.
  • Monitoring key Q&FS metrics on set frequency to ensure sustenance of quality systems.
  • Reviewing performance on regular basis to ensure delivery of quality KPIs.
  • Partner stabilizing new co-pack w.r.t Q&FS standards and ensuring consistently safe & high-quality product delivery.
  • Lead quality sustainment and validation efforts relative to new product introductions.
  • Lead troubleshooting and SME support efforts ensuring that Q&FS issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify Q&FS capability build need and partner Caman capability build manager in conducting timely and effective trainings.
  • Lead implementation of QSHA & ASHA
  • Support consumer complaints troubleshooting and consumer complaint trend monitoring to reduce complaints.
  • Lead internal customer satisfaction through packaging quality complaint reduction (stales reduction)

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Food Technology/Microbiology/Dairy Technology
  • Lead auditor for FSSC 22000 v5.1 and/or ISO 9001:2018 is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in food manufacturing plants/snacks operation
  • Sound knowledge for foods manufacturing process and quality management
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with teams
  • Ability to manage multiple stake holders (internal and external) and multitasking
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively and manage risk in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change
  • Proven ability to align and communicate across functional and level barriers
