About the Role

LinkedIn is looking for a Regional IT Manager (APAC) within LinkedIn's Productivity Engineering Operations (PE Ops) organization. The Productivity Engineering Operations organization spans technology across LinkedIn's infrastructure, security, and business products and applications. We work to improve and transform the employee technical support experience by delivering support services that are effortless, self-service-first, and near-real-time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with strong technical depth, people leadership skills, and experience operating in a distributed, multinational tech environment. This candidate should also be fluent with building scalable support solutions and driving transformation in enterprise IT.

The Regional IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all IT operations across a defined geographical region. This role ensures systems, infrastructure, and support services operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with global organizational objectives. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders, local IT teams, and global technology stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and costeffective IT services.

Responsibilities

• Regional IT Operations and Service Delivery: Ensure smooth daytoday IT operations across all sites in your region, including enduser technical support, hardware/accessories, asset management and ITAD, print services, and event support.
• Policies and Standards: Develop, implement, and maintain regional IT policies, procedures, and operational standards aligned with corporate IT governance.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Security, Facilities, Workplace, Finance, and HR to plan expansions, moves, or remodels with minimal disruption.
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of full-time regional IT professionals, including performance management and career development.
• Escalation Support: Provide technical guidance and escalation support to full-time and contracted employees to ensure timely resolution of complex issues.
• Resourcing: Oversee staffing levels, team development, and resource planning for ongoing and emerging needs.
• Technology Strategy and Projects: Develop and execute regional IT strategies that support global organizational goals, growth, and modernization initiatives.
• Execution: Plan and lead IT projects/tasks, hardware and software upgrades, and technical enhancements across multiple locations.
• Technology Evaluation: Conduct technology evaluations, recommend new tools, and ensure adoption of industry best practices (e.g., ITIL, security frameworks).
• Optimization: Drive optimization and improve cost-to-serve through the use of AI and automation tools.
• Risk, Compliance, and Security: Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans, security protocols, and data protection standards across the region.
• Regulatory and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR), organizational controls (e.g., SOX), and internal audit guidelines.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary IT partner for APAC (India, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan) business stakeholders, ensuring technology aligns with business needs.
• Reporting: Provide regular reporting on service performance and health to senior leadership.
• Vendor Management: Own vendor/MSP performance, contracts, and renewals; negotiate SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage the regional IT budget, optimizing spending and forecasting for future needs.
• Cost-Effectiveness: Evaluate costeffective technology solutions that support growth/scale and provide operational efficiency.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of management experience in IT operations or multisite technology leadership.
• 5+ years of experience with IT service management and support ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• 2+ years of experience managing regional and multi-site IT budgets.
• 1+ year(s) of management experience or 1+ year(s) of staff level engineering experience with management training
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience in IT operations or multisite technology leadership.
• Demonstrated impact improving CSAT, employee NPS for IT, MTTR, and SLA attainment while reducing cost-to-serve.
• Direct experience designing, deploying, or operating AI and automation solutions to augment human support processes (e.g., agentic IT, intelligent triage, copilots, conversational self-service).
• Experience managing vendor (managed service provider) ecosystems.
• Experience planning and executing office move tasks with ITowned devices.
• Ability to operate strategically while maintaining a handson approach.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern identity solutions.
• Working understanding of APAC data protection and compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, KPIs, SLAs, and service management frameworks.
• Experience in a fast-paced technology organization.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL to track KPIs and drive datainformed decisions.
