Job Description

  • Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Spearheading the entire e-commerce business like D2C, B2B, B2C including Channel and Direct efforts
  • Develop & execute e-commerce sales strategies to meet revenue and liquidation targets
  • Channel Creation / Management: To Create New Channels and Work with Existing Ones to Ensure Fulfilment & Drive assigned targets for E com Business
  • Steering the targeted revenue across various online partners (but not limited to) like Amazon, Flipkart, PayTm, Snapdeal, etc.
  • Strong Data Analysis skills and command over Excel is a must. This requires skills to (but not limited to) analyse the past trends, stock monitoring, forecasting basis seasonality and stock replenishment/availability with partners and ecom marketplaces.
  • Planning and increasing the sales margin and optimizing the fixed cost of the market by fulfilling the sales commitment monthly
  • Strategy for pricing, uniform discounting for all titles (Books) across e-Commerce Platforms, Creating promotional offers and checking to see that these are uploaded precisely.
  • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
  • Develop and implement internal and external processes and procedures (order fulfillment, partner onboarding, etc.) to support an efficient, seamless customer experience: Must perform billings under strict deadlines/TAT.
  • Ensuring that the listing of new products is done across all the categories for the respective accounts.
  • Plan and monitor online channels paid search marketing campaigns, emails, banners and offers.
  • Managing the internal ad traffic with the creative teams by analyzing the same working on the media work process to measure the traffic along with all owned media placements in consultation with marketing team.
  • Use SEO, SEM and marketing options offered by online channels for optimization of Product visibility on Online Sales Channels and hence Sales.
  • Report and help in tracking down fake sellers / piracy issues effecting e-Commerce sales and growth both internally and with external vendors as required.
  • Liaison with retailers and small distributors to enhance sales, collection, and visibility of WK products, essentially print books portfolio.
  • Effective use of CRM (SFDC) to report and analyze data.

. Travel to and attend conferences, events and customer meetings as required

Key Requirements
.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
.5 - 8+ years experience in Field Sale or Account Management or other equivalent experience
.Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry
.Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills
.Ability to plan own territory/account approach and manage own resources, train and mentor junior staff
