Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Establish strategy, policies, and guidelines for direct taxation within the organization.
  • Conduct direct tax planning for each financial year to optimize tax liabilities.
  • Manage timely and accurate collation of data for income tax assessments and transfer pricing reports.
  • Oversee advanced tax filings and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Conduct filing of income tax returns for the organization in a timely manner.
  • Represent the organization in meetings with Assessing Officers and IT Commissioners regarding pending litigations.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants for inputs on tax implications of new projects, corporate structuring, and tax filings.
  • Manage submission of required information to banks and obtain necessary certifications to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Address queries and clarifications from auditors and ensure timely resolution.
  • Attend meetings with Tax Assessing Officers and auditors, providing necessary explanations and documentation.
  • Resolve day-to-day tax-related issues and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
