About the role

Leads team of intermediate to experienced Digital Product Management professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on defining the nature and scope of the service, and works with other planning roles, relationship managers and capacity planners to forecast demand for each service.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manager - Digital Products, you'll be responsible for:

• Responsible for managing the entire Digital product life cycle from planning to execution.
• Researches and analyzes market conditions and identifies key trends and opportunities for product innovation/enhancements.
• Articulates a clear vision rooted in addressing customer problems. Determines product features and functions and managing product development.
• Responsible for managing end-to-end testing results and considers alternative processes, metrics, go to market and change management implications.
• Reports on voice of the customer and established KPIs.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Deep technical expert and thought leader that helps accelerate the adoption of the very best engineering practices, while maintaining knowledge of industry innovations, trends, and practices
• 13+ years of overall software development experience, with 5+ years in leading a team.
• A solid software engineering foundation indicated by a demonstrated understanding of product design of complex systems, which includes cloud-native software development (AWS)
• Node/JavaScript, React, Lambda
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical ideas to a business audience is as critical as the understanding of, and experience in, leading talented research and engineering teams.
• Strong project management skills with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
• Demonstrated leadership experience setting the vision and building, leading, and motivating software engineering teams. Leads by example with creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate resources outside of direct management to support strategies and initiatives to build alignment.
• Possesses strong combination of strategic thinking, detailed tactical planning, and project management expertise.
• Ability to communicate complete information (verbal and written) in a clear concise manner with strong executive presence.
• Results-oriented with a proven track record of success leading an engineering team in a dynamic, frequently changing entrepreneurial environment, where management of complex and often conflicting product requirements is a critical driver of success.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organization skills: ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Identify and comprehend business changes quickly and communicate to executive/ business sponsors.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Detail oriented - you can see the big picture and break it down into small, digestible chunks
• Passion for and understanding of technology - working knowledge of modern, cloud-based technology. Distributed computing expertise is a bonus.
• Great communication - you can translate product requirements and designs into clear user stories, and communicate across product and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and actionable.
• Business acumen - a desire to understand how every new feature delights customers and impacts the business

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree from a world-class school in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• 10+ years of experience with front-end and user interface development.
• Certified in Agile (CSM, CSPO, SAFe)
