Job Description

NSDC implements various skill-based programs/schemes where Indian youths are trained in a particular skill set of their choice post which they are eligible for jobs in that sector or their skillset is enhanced post training. All the scheme-based trainings are implemented through SIDH (Skill India Digital Hub). The primary responsibility of Manager Business Finance is to oversee the financial batch lifecycle in a scheme in SIDH and the movement of milestone-based invoice generation from SIDH to SAP for processing of payouts. The role requires basic understanding of SIDH system and strong analytical skills with good working knowledge of MS excel.

1.Invoice approval in SIDH for various schemes

a.Invoice approval in SIDH whenever TP generates them

b.Calculation check for all types of payouts: Tranches, B&L, Assessment etc.

c.Report any error issue with relevant team and follow up for resolution

d.Inform stakeholders of issues and update resolutions

2.Stakeholder Management

a.Timely response to all queries on mails received from external stakeholders

b.Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders for query resolution in SIDH batch lifecycle

c.Ad-hoc management approvals for any process change/update

3.MIS weekly, monthly & ad hoc

a.Reporting of financial transactions in SIDH monthly

b.Weekly MIS for disbursements processed for management

4.Data validation, within team and across other teams

a.SIDH finance data to be validated with operations data to check for correctness of eligibility criteria and check for any issues which needs rectification

5.Reporting

a.Parliamentary sessions held by Government requires financial data in various formats which needs to be provided in time bound manner

b.Any ad-hoc report as required by management or ministry

6.RTI/Grievance

a.Finance related data to be provided as response to RTIs and grievances in timely manner

7.SIDH Finance module development/validation

a.As per requirement for new scheme development and updates in running schemes, module development in SIDH with preparation of BRDs and conducting UATs for module testing

Requirements

  • MBA in Finance
  • 10 years and above relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication skills; both spoken and written
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Power point and Word
