Our MIS & Analytics team plays a critical role in building a data-driven organization by delivering real-time dashboards, actionable insights, and automated reporting across Sales, Marketing, Academics, Operations, Finance, and HR.

As an MIS Data Analyst at Elance Learning, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing business data to support strategic and operational decision-making. You will work extensively with the Zoho ecosystem, particularly Zoho Analytics, to build dashboards, automate reports, ensure data accuracy, and provide actionable business insights.

• Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Zoho Analytics for Sales, Marketing, Academics, Finance, HR, and Operations.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze business performance, identify trends, uncover opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Zoho Suite Management: Work with Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Books, Zoho People, Zoho Desk, and other Zoho applications to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.
• Data Automation: Build automated reports, scheduled dashboards, KPI trackers, and data pipelines to minimize manual reporting.
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across multiple business systems while proactively identifying discrepancies.
• Cross-functional Reporting: Partner with department heads to understand reporting requirements and develop customized MIS reports aligned with business objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key business KPIs including admissions, revenue, lead conversion, marketing performance, student lifecycle, collections, and operational efficiency.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Support management with data analysis for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business reviews.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain documentation for dashboards, reporting standards, and continuously improve MIS processes through automation and optimization.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field (MBA/PG in Business Analytics is an added advantage).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting.
• Zoho Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Analytics and the Zoho Suite, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho People, and Zoho Desk.
• SQL Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL queries, joins, calculated fields, and data modeling.
• Data Visualization: Ability to build executive dashboards and meaningful visual reports using charts, KPIs, scorecards, and drill-down analytics.
• Advanced Excel: Strong knowledge of Excel functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex datasets and convert them into actionable business insights.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Ability to present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and deliver within deadlines.

• Experience integrating data from multiple systems through APIs.
• Knowledge of business metrics across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations.
• Experience in the Education or EdTech industry.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of business forecasting and performance management.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting automation.
