We are seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS MQ Administrator with strong expertise in CICS Systems Programming on the Mainframe platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for CICS administration, configuration management, upgrades, maintenance, and performance support across enterprise Mainframe environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with CICS TS upgrades, resource definition and management, troubleshooting, and supporting mission-critical applications while adhering to ITIL processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• 8 years of experience on CICS Systems Programming on Mainframe Platform
• Good understanding of zOS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, ServiceNow, and zOS Explorer
• Worked on CICS TS upgrades and CICS maintenance via SMPE
• Experience with CICS RDO (Resource Definition Online)
• Define CICS resources online and offline
• Experience in creating and sunsetting CICS regions
• Modify CICS configurations and troubleshoot
• Knowledge of zOS Connect and WAS support is an added advantage
• Well versed with ITIL Processes
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Provide inputs for Solutions RFPQI
• Secondary skills in Storage, Database administration, or Operations are an added advantage

Qualifications

8 years of experience on CICS Systems Programming on Mainframe Platform.

Required Skills
