Review and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction schedules before coordinating work with subcontractors and site personnel.
Supervise and coordinate daily Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and contract requirements.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues and coordinate work sequencing to avoid clashes with civil, structural, and architectural works.
Monitor site progress, workmanship, and productivity to ensure works are completed in accordance with the project schedule and quality requirements.
Coordinate the timely delivery and availability of M&E materials, equipment, and resources to support construction activities.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure M&E installations comply with project specifications, statutory regulations, and authority requirements.
Ensure subcontractors comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, safe work procedures, and maintain good housekeeping at all work areas.
Assist in manpower planning, resource allocation, daily work progress reporting, and coordination of site activities.
Attend site coordination meetings, inspections, testing and commissioning activities, and resolve site coordination issues promptly.
Support project completion activities, including testing and commissioning, defect rectification, inspections, and project handover.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience supervising M&E works for large-scale building, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
Experience in LTA projects is preferred and will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of M&E installation standards, construction methods, testing and commissioning procedures, and relevant statutory requirements.
Able to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and coordination drawings.
Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and quality management requirements.
