We are seeking an experienced
Low-Code Platform Architect with 10–15+ years of experience to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise-grade proprietary low-code platform.
This role will define the
core architecture, runtime model, metadata engine, workflow orchestration framework, extensibility model, and governance standards that power scalable application delivery across multiple business domains.
The ideal candidate should have deep experience with leading low-code ecosystems such as Academia, Thesis, OutSystems, Mendix, Appian, or Microsoft and strong expertise in
platform engineering, workflow systems, metadata-driven architecture, and enterprise SaaS models.
This is a foundational product leadership role focused on building the next generation of digital transformation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Engineering
- Define the end-to-end architecture for the low-code platform.
- Design the metadata-driven application model for:
- Forms
- Workflows
- Business Rules
- UI Rendering
- Architect the runtime execution engine for dynamic application generation.
- Build scalable multi-tenant platform architecture.
- Design extensibility models for:
- Plugins
- Connectors
- Custom Components
- Define reusable component frameworks for rapid application assembly.
Workflow & Orchestration
- Design workflow execution architecture and process orchestration models.
- Define approval workflows, escalation logic, and SLA tracking mechanisms.
- Build event-driven automation patterns.
Security & Governance
- Establish platform-wide security architecture:
- RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
- ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control)
- Policy Enforcement
- Define audit logging, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Implement versioning strategies for:
- Applications
- Workflows
- Rules
Platform Operations
- Define CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Establish environment promotion models:
- Development
- QA
- UAT
- Production
- Design observability and monitoring frameworks.
Product Innovation
- Benchmark against leading platforms such as OutSystems, Mendix, and Appian.
- Drive innovation in:
- AI-assisted app building
- Intelligent automation
- Visual designers
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define the platform roadmap.
