Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and oversee logistics strategies, ensuring efficient movement and storage of goods.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and optimize transportation routes and costs.
- Manage third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight forwarders, and transport companies.
- Monitor and analyze key logistics metrics (e.g., delivery times, shipping costs, on-time performance).
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, import/export laws, and safety standards.
- Lead logistics team members and oversee scheduling, performance, and training.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, customer service, and production teams to align logistics with business operations.
- Resolve shipping and delivery issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for logistics processes.
