Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Localization Vendor Manager to oversee our network of language service providers (LSPs), freelance linguists, and localization partners. The role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality localization delivery, optimizing costs, and supporting global product launches across multiple languages and markets.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build, onboard, and manage relationships with localization vendors, including translation agencies, freelancers, and language specialists.
• Evaluate vendor performance using KPIs such as quality, turnaround time, responsiveness, and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs, and commercial terms with localization partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Experience teams, to understand localization requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of multilingual content while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions with vendors when required.
• Manage vendor capacity planning to support business growth and seasonal demand.
• Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and localization best practices.
• Maintain vendor databases, documentation, and compliance records.
• Work with Translation Management Systems (TMS), CAT tools, and localization platforms.
• Support new language launches and expansion into global markets.

Candidate Profile:

• High level of English, able to communicate autonomously in written and oral contexts with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in vendor management, localization, translation operations, or global content management.
• Experience working with Language Service Providers (LSPs) and freelance translator networks.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of CAT tools and localization workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
