Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator with hands-on experience in RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (primarily RHEL).
- Manage system performance, availability, and security in enterprise environments.
- Apply system patches and updates using Red Hat tools and repositories.
- Monitor server health and optimize resources for peak performance.
- Configure and manage system services such as Apache, NGINX, DNS, DHCP, FTP, and SSH.
- Implement and manage backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and policies.
- Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting or tools like Ansible.
Required Skills:- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Good knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with server hardware, storage, and networking basics
- Familiarity with command-line tools, file systems, and permissions
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Scripting skills (Shell, Bash, or Python preferred)
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or RHCE certification
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Exposure to DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Docker) is an advantage
