Description
The Lineman will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power lines, ensuring reliable power supply and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines.
- Conduct regular inspections of power lines and equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
- Respond to power outages and emergencies, troubleshooting issues to restore service promptly.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to plan and execute installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical line work or a related field.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to line work.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and relevant certifications in electrical work.
