Job Description: Line Cook
Location: Indiranagar, Bangalore
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic team in Indiranagar, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring a smooth workflow in collaboration with the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and portion control guidelines.
- Assist in developing new dishes or improving existing recipes.
- Ensure food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Kitchen Operations
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies before service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure timely service.
- Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Head Chef or Manager of shortages.
- Ensure proper storage of all ingredients and equipment.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Provide support to team members during busy service times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a busy restaurant.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
