Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Insurance Agent at Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. The Insurance Agent will identify prospective customers, explain health and related insurance products, and recommend suitable plans based on individual needs and financial profiles. Daily activities include engaging with customers via phone and digital channels, responding to inquiries, assisting with policy applications, and supporting clients through the onboarding process. The role involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, following up on leads, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and claim support. The Insurance Agent is expected to meet assigned sales and service targets while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and match products to customer needs.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with comfort working via phone and digital platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets( no fixed target - earn as you work )
• Basic understanding of health insurance regulations and willingness to stay updated on product features and compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary (10th standard) or equivalent
• should write IRDA exam. - multiple languages available.
