To provide legal support in trusteeship services for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), with a focus on review and vetting of legal documents, undertaking due diligence processes, preparing trustee declarations and undertakings, and coordinating the physical filing of AIF applications with SEBI.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Review and vet Trust Deeds, Contribution Agreements, Investment Management Agreements (IMA), and Private Placement Memorandums (PPM) from the trusteeship compliance perspective.
- Ensure that all documents are in line with SEBI (AIF) Regulations, 2012 and applicable laws including the Indian Trusts Act.
- Verify KYC documentation, background checks, and regulatory status to ensure transparency and risk mitigation.
