We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contracts and Legal Manager based in India to provide comprehensive legal support for our operations in Australia and New Zealand.
This remote role requires a contracts expert with a robust background in the energy and resources sector, particularly in renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of international law (including knowledge and experience in local laws in Australia and New Zealand), regulatory frameworks, and the unique challenges of the sectors we work in.

Key Responsibilities :
Contract Advisory : Provide expert contractual advice on a wide range of contracts and contractual matters, including regulatory compliance, contract negotiations and risk management.
Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and legal standards.
Regulatory Compliance : Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring the companys operations adhere to all legal requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and management, to provide proactive contractual support and facilitate smooth project execution.
Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with projects, implementing strategies to protect the company s interests and reputation.
Compliance and Governance: Advise on compliance with Worley s policies and standards, including delegations of authority.
