Location: Chennai, India

Work Timing: 4:30pm to 1:30am

Office 3 days a week (Tue, Wed & Thurs), 2 days WFH (Mon & Fri)

Job Summary/Mohr Intro.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Lease Administration to lead and expand our lease administration operations focused on owner-operators and institutional investors. This role will be pivotal in developing strategies, processes, and teams to manage the growing portfolio of landlord leases within these segments. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in lease administration, property management, and a deep understanding of the unique needs and expectations of owner-operators and institutional investors.

Essential Functions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of lease administrators dedicated to owner-operator and institutional investor leases.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the landlord lease administration team within these segments.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Lease & Property Management:
    • Manage the administration of landlord leases, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions specific to owner-operators and institutional investors.
    • Review, interpret, and abstract lease documents for critical information.
    • Ensure accurate and timely lease data entry into the lease management system.
    • Coordinate with property management teams to ensure lease compliance and address lease-related issues.
  • Client Relations:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for owner-operators and institutional investors regarding lease administration matters.
    • Resolve queries and disputes related to lease agreements and property management issues.
    • Facilitate communication between owner-operators, institutional investors, and property management teams to ensure smooth lease operations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in lease administration for owner-operators and institutional investors.
    • Identify and address gaps in current lease administration processes.
    • Implement best practices and industry standards in property management lease administration.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Assist in developing and executing strategies to grow the landlord side of the lease administration business within the owner-operator and institutional investor segments.
    • Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
    • Collaborate with senior management to set goals and objectives for the landlord lease administration team.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on lease administration activities, performance metrics, and key issues specific to owner-operators and institutional investors.
    • Conduct periodic audits of lease data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Provide analysis and recommendations based on lease data trends.
Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Any Graduation
  • Years of Experience: 10+Years
  • Yardi and other property management experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Physical Requirements

  • Involves work of a general office nature
  • Typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day and may involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays.
