Job Description

Profile: Learning & Development (Technical Role)

Designation: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager)

Education: Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is required (MBA preferred). Candidates with an Engineering background (B.Tech/M.Tech) will have an added advantage.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in Learning & Development, or related fields. Candidates with exposure to the manufacturing industry will be preferred.

We are looking for a technically oriented Learning & Development professional to support and manage Learning Management System as well as technical training programmes across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation—preferably with exposure to manufacturing environments—who can effectively coordinate with subject matter experts, identify the right vendors, and ensure seamless execution of technical capability-building initiatives on LMS and otherwise.

As part of the L&D team, the individual will primarily focus on LMS and technically aligned capability-building programmes. The individual will work closely with departments to handle LMS, understand technical skill requirements, source appropriate training partners, and coordinate the end-to-end execution of programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage LMS and related activities
  • Identify and onboard external vendors/trainers for technical programmes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand training needs and define learning outcomes
  • Manage end-to-end execution of technical training initiatives
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, communication, and session readiness
  • Maintain training documentation and basic analytics
  • Support the assessment process and competency tracking for technical programmes

Education & Experience:

  • MBA / Postgraduate in a related field preferred
  • B.Tech / Engineering background preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in L&D, LMS, technical training coordination, or related areas
  • Exposure to the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical orientation with understanding of technical/functional programmes
  • Good knowledge of LMS and advanced Excel preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing or industrial training environments preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination and vendor management skills
  • Strong communication and facilitation abilities
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset
  • Ability to confidently manage training audiences
