Role Overview
This role is ideal for a strategic recruiter who specialises in identifying, engaging, and closing top-tier technical talent at the Principal Engineer (PE), Architect, and Director levels. You will lead the acquisition strategy for senior technical roles within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, driving processes that ensure quality of hire and enhance Exotel's engineering leadership pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for high-priority, senior technical roles (PE, Architect, and specialised leadership positions).
- Develop and execute advanced strategic sourcing strategies to target passive candidates and build robust, long-term talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and hiring managers, partnering closely with them to define role profiles and customised recruitment strategies.
- Utilise data, market intelligence, and benchmarking exercises to optimise recruitment processes, measure hiring quality, and provide regular reports to leadership on progress and outcomes.
- Drive initiatives emphasising automation and scripting to improve the efficiency and speed of execution within the TA function.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Exotel, ensuring a superior candidate experience and promoting the company's employer brand across multiple channels.
- Manage complex offer negotiations and work with candidates to effectively close top talent.
- Continuously refine talent acquisition processes to support scalable, agile hiring necessary for a rapidly expanding company.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and HR Business Partners to ensure seamless alignment of talent strategy with organisational goals.
Required Skills
- 7 to 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with a focus on senior technical roles.
- Proven expertise in leading and managing full-cycle recruitment for Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager, Senior Architect, or specialised Director-level roles.
- Prior experience working within a B2B SaaS, product-based, or high-growth startup environment is preferred.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and market mapping techniques for niche talent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use recruitment metrics and data-driven insights to optimise processes.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and advanced sourcing tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders at the CXO/Director levels.
- Skilled in negotiating complex offers and managing expectations to close difficult hires.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with employer branding initiatives and working with marketing teams on recruitment campaigns.
- Understanding of HR systems and seamless onboarding processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field MBA is preferred.
