Job Description

SEPM Operation s and infrastructure management:

Candidate with 4 to 8 Yrs experience in SEPM infrastructure including, SEP client installation on server, maintain/upkeep of SEPM infrastructure.
Manage daily health check on SEPM infra.
Handling user request and incidents on policy exception and implementing local exception policy
Analyze application Configuration settings, Policies custom rule sets, historical performance data provide recommendations
Troubleshooting SEP client issues.
Troubleshooting replication issues, database replication issues.
Good knowledge on Server side SEPM infra logs and ability to analyze it.
Troubleshoot incidents and provide guidance to L1, L2 team members.
Should be able to automate the reporting, health checks of the infrastructure and such other day to day activities his self using scripting tools like Powershell

Profile required

Years of Experience This has to be more precise as in range of Year of Experience than just year ie 4-8 Years

4 years of relevant experience in SCCM based configuration and release management.

8 or more years of overall IT experience.

Qualification / Certification

Diploma / Degree (mandatory)

ITIL Foundation (optional)

Upgrade SEPM and SEP clients adhering to Change and Release management Processes.
Experience in SEPM Migrations/upgrade.
Administration experience on SEPM 14.
Configure Symantec Endpoint Protection replication, load balancing, and failover. Monitor and troubleshoot a Symantec Endpoint Protection environment.
Configuring and troubleshooting Group Update Providers.
Providing quality standards for operational areas ensuring adherence to quality standards leading efforts in developing executing best practices standard operating procedures targeting at organizational excellence. Monitor and troubleshoot SEPM and client content Delivery.
Maintaining Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and clients in the Network, thus securing the System and the Network.
Supporting in network threat prevention technologies such as firewall technologies and intrusion prevention.
Supporting in proactive threat prevention technologies such as SONAR, heuristic based protection, and application and device control.
Supporting Symantec Endpoint Protection support of virtual environments.
Configure and implement Symantec Endpoint Protection domains.
Perform basic disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Enable debugging and gather logs for technical support use.
Handle prioritizeddifficult threat related cases
Interpret the results of reports and determine the action to take to remediate the situation.
Supporting in implications and ramifications of security risks
Update definitions for SEP and SPE on LUA as and when required.
Conduct resiliency tests.
Regular PS controls.
Knowledge of SQL Query creation for custom reporting
Automate day to day activities of self and team through scripting or other automation tools.
Windows defender and EDR experience is added advantage.
