Team and Investors
We're 3 founders, Chandan, Shaurya, and Divyansh, with a shared passion to solve real-world problems at scale and consume content for hours. We started Wishlink in January 2022 and are based out of Gurugram. We have recently raised a
series B round of $17.5M in February 2026, backed by leading global investors including Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India, Fundamentum, and Elevation Capital.

What would you be doing
- Watch Reels and YouTube videos every day & level up on your fashion sense!
- Own end-to-end delivery for your domain — from requirements and system design to shipping and iteration.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a squad of 3–5 engineers; own hiring, performance, and career development.
- Build the technical roadmap for your domain and keep it aligned with product and business goals.
- Lead architecture reviews, set engineering standards, and maintain a high bar for quality and reliability.
- Write production-grade code in backend systems using Python/Django, Postgres, Redis, Celery, Kafka, async at scale; this is a hands-on role with 60% coding time.
- Own SLO targets for your domain; drive incident response, runbook discipline, and blameless post-mortems.
- Partner with product, business and other engineering squads; represent your team's health and risks in leadership forums.
- Continuously improve how the squad operates — CI/CD, code review culture, documentation, and on-call hygiene.
What are we looking for
- 7+ years of building production web applications, with 1–3+ years directly leading an engineering team.
- Proven distributed systems design, backed by real design docs and post-mortems.
- Product mindset: you think about user impact and business outcomes, not just technical correctness.
- Comfortable operating across product, business, and engineering functions — not just within your squad.
- Comfortable making hard tradeoffs under deadline pressure in a high-velocity startup environment.
- Proficient with REST APIs, SQL at scale, and debugging production issues without guessing.
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling (metrics, logs, alerting), and debugging production systems end-to-end.
Good to Have
- Background in eCommerce, affiliate marketing, or social commerce — understanding GMV, attribution, and creator-led commerce is a real head start.
- React.js frontend — fast UIs, thoughtful component architecture, rigorous PR reviews.
