Role Summar

yWe are looking for a Software Development Lead (SDL) to lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling Kapiva's Ecommerce and Health Tech platforms. The SDL will serve as the technical backbone of the team, driving architecture, design, and execution while mentoring engineers and fostering innovation through AI-assisted development and automation

.You'll be hands-on in design and coding but also guide SDE-1, SDE-2, and SDE-3 engineers to deliver high-quality, performant, and secure applications

Key Responsibiliti

• esLead a team of Full Stack and Backend Engineers in designing and developing scalable system
• s.Drive architecture discussions for microservices, APIs, and distributed data system
• s.Partner with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical plans and deliverable
• s.Write and review high-quality, maintainable code; set coding standards and practice
• s.Introduce and integrate AI-assisted development tools (LLMs, copilots, code generation) to enhance developer productivit
• y.Collaborate with the DevOps and Security teams to ensure robust, secure, and observable system
• s.Own performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of key service
• s.Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and technical upskillin
• g.Champion engineering excellence, continuous delivery, and test automation practice
• s.Stay hands-on in key modules, especially for architectural or performance-critical component

Required Skills and Qualificati

• ons6–8 years of experience in software engineering, with 1–2 years leading tea
