About the Role
Our client is seeking a LeadSNOWFLAKE Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, with experience building scalable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake while ensuring data quality and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Follow best practices for data security, documentation, and code quality.
Required Skills
- 5-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and data modeling.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
- Experience working with cloud services on AWS or Azure or GCP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to have skills
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Azure or Snowflake certifications are an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
