Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SDET to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions. The role involves building automation frameworks, supporting end-to-end testing, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test automation strategies across functional and non-functional testing.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright
- Develop automation scripts using Java, Python, or TypeScript
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve execution efficiency and reliability
- Implement Shift-Left Testing practices for early defect detection
- Work with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) to convert requirements into executable test scenarios
- Develop end-to-end automation solutions for complex applications
- Perform API testing and Database Testing (data validation, SQL queries, backend data integrity checks)
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, test processes, and overall quality engineering practices
- Explore AI-driven testing approaches such as test optimization, self-healing tests, and intelligent test analysis
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 - 10 years of experience in QA / SDET / Automation Testing
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills,
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of testing fundamentals and test design techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and test automation pipelines.
- Experience in API Testing, Database Testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills for writing queries, validating data, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Exposure to Performance Testing tools like JMeter.
- Awareness of AI-driven testing and modern QA practices.
- Strong focus on automation optimization and quality engineering
