DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an IT Manager and contribute meaningfully at a global leader in serving science. As a technology leader, you'll drive innovation and digital transformation while ensuring seamless IT operations across the enterprise.

You'll oversee critical IT functions including infrastructure, applications, security, and support services. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver strategic solutions that advance our mission. Lead the implementation of new technologies and processes while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:
. Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in IT with 3+ years in people management/leadership roles
. Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
. Industry certifications (ITIL, PMP, Agile, etc.) highly valued
. Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and enterprise applications
. Demonstrated success managing IT projects and leading digital transformation initiatives
. Experience working in regulated environments (GxP, FDA, etc.) and ensuring compliance
. Advanced knowledge of ITIL processes, IT security best practices, and risk management
. Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build partnerships across functions
. Strong budget management and resource planning capabilities
. Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams
. Outstanding communication and presentation skills
. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and modern IT architectures
. Change management expertise and ability to drive organizational transformation
. Proficiency with SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps)
. Travel may be required up to 25%
