We're Hiring: Senior Java Backend Tech Lead
Urbanfix IT Services is hiring multiple Senior Java Backend Tech Leads to work on large-scale backend modernization and migration projects for international clients.

Responsibilities
- Lead migration of legacy Java applications to Java 17+
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs
- Refactor, optimize, and modernize enterprise applications
- Build microservices and integration layers
- Drive architecture, code quality, testing, and performance improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Europe and North America
- Leverage AI tools such as CursorAI and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and REST APIs
- Experience migrating large legacy Java systems
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Docker
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience working with international teams
- Daily use of AI coding tools such as CursorAI, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Kafka or RabbitMQ
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Experience in insurance, finance, or healthcare domains
