JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced S/4HANA PP/QM Consultant with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules within the S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA PP/QM solutions to optimize manufacturing and quality processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Solution Design and Implementation: Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA PP and QM modules, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Configuration Expertise: Configure PP processes such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, and QM processes like Quality Planning, Inspection, and Notifications.
- Business Process Mapping: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and map business processes to SAP S/4HANA functionalities, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of PP/QM modules with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, WM, and FICO.
- Data Migration: Support data migration activities, including master data setup (materials, BOMs, routings, inspection plans) and transactional data.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Training and Support: Provide end-user training, create documentation (functional specifications, configuration documents, user manuals), and offer post-go-live support.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, leveraging S/4HANA innovations like embedded analytics and Fiori apps.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PP/QM processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Education & Relevant Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree in IT Management or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in SAP PP and QM modules, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Experience in the renewable energy, manufacturing, or power sector is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in managing custom applications, cloud-based solutions, or third-party software implementations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PP processes (e.g., Discrete Manufacturing, Process Manufacturing, MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution).
- Strong understanding of SAP QM processes (e.g., Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Notifications, Certificates of Analysis).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for PP/QM and embedded analytics.
- Experience in integration with MM, SD, WM, and FICO modules.
- Experience in implementation of BAPI & User Exists as per business requirements.
- Expertise in planning strategies such as Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock and Assemble-to-Order.
- Experience in configuration of Material Master Data Record, Bill of Materials, Work Centre, and Routing.
- Knowledge in Customization of creation and Assignment of Plant, Storage Locations and Warehouse.
- Highly skilled in setting up the Master Data, Demand Planning and MRP views for PP module.
