Investment Services and Solutions (ISS) is one of the main business pillars and investment areas within Fidelity. It is going through a phase of the rapid and substantial transformation of its business model as we'll as the Technology estate.
A key component of the transformation is our data architecture. We have a number of new technologies that we are implementing, including Finbourne LUSID and Snowflake, and we need to ensure that all components of our architecture work in unison.
As the Lead Data Architect within the ISS Enterprise Architecture team, you will provide leadership to both business and technology stakeholders and a strategy for our data architecture.
About you
Have worked within the asset management industry, and be able to show leadership experience and data architecture skills in previous roles.
Have a blend of data modelling, data architecture, data governance and technical data skills balance, including an understanding of different vendor offerings (e.g databases, integration, metadata tools), their constraints, advantages, and appropriate usages, and how to best integrate them for optimal business benefit.
Be able to lead both a technical and functional audience in aligning to a vision, and support other teams in achieving its goals across different parts of the organisation.
Be able to understand, guide and solve complex functional, technical and architectural issues around data.
