Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in order-to-cash (O2C) processes and will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. Strong communication skills in fluent English with no mother tongue influence are essential, as the role involves global stakeholder interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD solutions
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to the order-to-cash process
- Configure core SD functionalities including:
- Sales order processing
- Pricing
- Billing and invoicing
- Credit management
- Delivery and shipping
- Output determination
- Integrate SD with other modules such as MM, FI, PP, and LE
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Collaborate with global teams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Prepare documentation and deliver end-user training sessions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP SD
- Strong understanding of O2C business processes and SAP best practices
- Experience with S/4HANA is highly desirable
- Knowledge of intercompany sales, third-party sales, and returns processing
- Hands-on experience in pricing procedures, condition techniques, and account determination
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluent English communication (verbal and written) with no mother tongue influence
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certification in Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Experience in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, or consumer goods
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for SD and SAP Activate methodology
- Exposure to EDI, IDocs, and output forms
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments
