Seeking a Telecom Provisioning Manager with vast knowledge of WAN/LAN data connectivity technology to join the Global Telecom Provisioning Team. Candidate will work closely with the Network Engineering, Project Management and Finance teams.The individual needs to show a keen interest in technology. This role requires an individual with effective communication and interpersonal skills that can establish and maintain an excellent relationship with technology and finance teams to order, coordinate installation and optimize data circuits and work with finance to review and audit telecom bills for accuracy and identify cost savings. Additionally, as Telecom Provisioning manager you will be responsible for maintaining inventories and contracts and resolves billing disputes with vendors.Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to ascertain data circuit needs across Internet, MPLS, Point-to-Point, Extranet, and Broadband Service domains. 2. Project Coordination: Partner with Project Management to align circuit provisioning with the infrastructural requirements of global branch locations. 3. Vendor Relations: Solicit and assess quotes from vendors for various circuit types and bandwidth configurations, guided by approved guidelines. Evaluate circuit costs with internal teams to recommend vendors based on cost and performance metrics. 4. Provisioning Management: Devise a provisioning timeline with milestones such as Site Survey, Construction, Installation, and Testing. Act as a negotiation liaison, ensuring all contractual terms are vetted by legal counsel before provisioning. 5. Contractual Workflow: Conclude legal reviews by coordinating with the CIO for final signature via DocuSign. Retain signed contracts within shared legal system for organizational accountability. 6. Operational Execution: Supervise the end-to-end provisioning process for data circuits, encompassing site surveys, construction, internal wiring, and final testing. Facilitate internal circuit extensions and manage external contractor relationships for installations. 7. Connectivity Solutions: Coordinate WAN cross-connect installations within COLO and Datacenter locations. 8. Activation and Support: Schedule and confirm circuit activations in concert with Carriers, Branch Support, and Network Engineering teams. 9. Communications and Updates: Provide timely updates to all relevant parties, ensuring transparency throughout the provisioning process. 10. Financial Oversight: Utilize Telecom Expense Management tools to maintain precise circuit inventory records. Handle circuit disconnects, assuring billing accuracy, and initiate disputes when necessary. 11. Technical Support and Liaison: Use carrier portals for inventory management, issue reporting, and progression of escalations. Maintain ongoing dialogue with account teams, including regular conference calls. 12. Cost Analysis and Optimization: Periodically audit inventory to identify potential cost savings and efficiencies.Required Background: 8-10 years of experience working with ISP s and wired LAN/WAN connectivity providers Experience identifying discrepancies in processes and ability to provide recommendations for improvements.
